
PINE RIDGE FISHING CLUB
BY-LAWS
ARTICLE I ORGANIZATION AND MISSION
Section 1 - Organization
This club shall be called the Pine Ridge Fishing Club. It is a not-for-profit organization. All monies collected will be used for Club activities as directed by the Executive Committee.
Section 2 Mission
The mission of the Club is to educate, encourage and assist those who desire to learn more about fishing in a fun-filled and friendly environment while promoting good sportsmanship and resource conservation throughout our community.
ARTICLE II MEMBERSHIP
Section 1 Membership Requirements
Members must be at least 18 years of age
A minimum of 51 percent of Club members must be residents of Pine Ridge Estates. Non-residents may be put on a waiting list.
There are no restrictions on the number of members.
The Club will not discriminate in membership admission because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex or marital statu
Nonmembers may attend Club meetings for a maximum of two visits.
Section 2 Dues
Dues for the fiscal year January 1 to December 31 will be $15.00 per year for single membership and $25.00 for family membership (2 or more family members). First year dues for new members joining after July 31 will be $8.00 for single membership and $13.00 for family membership.
Dues for continuing members shall be paid by January 31.
No refunds of dues will be made for any reason.
Full membership in good standing shall be awarded upon payment of dues.
Section 3 Removal of Membership
Any un-sportsmanlike conduct will be grounds for dismissal.
The Executive Committee will hear any grievances brought against members and bring to vote memberships deemed worthy of a vote.
Non-payment of dues by continuing members will terminate membership.

ARTICLE IV COMMITTEES
The Executive Committee shall consist of Club officers and is the governing body for the Club and for administration of the By-laws.
Other committees may be established as needed.
ARTICLE V ELECTIONS
The election of officers will be held annually at the regular meeting during the month of November. Elections will be by a simple majority of members present at that meeting. The election of officers will be held by secret ballot. In the event that all positions for elections are unopposed, a simple majority vote by show of hands will be used to confirm elections of officers. Officers are elected to serve for one calendar year, beginning January 1 and ending December 31.
In the event of an office vacancy, nominations shall be asked for and election's) held at the next meeting to fill the vacancy or vacancies for the balance of the term.
All active Club members in good standing shall be eligible to hold office.
Single memberships shall have one (1) vote; family memberships shall have two (2) votes.
ARTICLE VI MEETINGS
Regular Club meetings will be held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Pine Ridge Community Center or at such place and time as designated by the Executive Committee.
Executive Committee meetings will be held as needed.
ARTICLE VII CHANGES TO THE BY-LAWS
The By-Laws may be changed at any time by a motion and second from the floor, followed by a majority vote of members in attendance, provided notice of the action has been furnished at a prior Club meeting.
